Nartarshia Soo joined the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in 2013.
She took up the position of Business Relations, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in March 2018.
Ms Soo holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Queensland, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Southern Queensland as well as qualifications in Comparative religions, Philosophy, Environmental Management and Project Management.
Overseas, Ms Soo has served as Second Secretary and Consul at the Australian Embassy in Phnom Penh as well as undertaking multiple short term assignments at the Australian High Commission in Nauru as SAO/ Consul and Ministerial Support.
In Canberra, she has had assignments in the Workforce Planning Section, Security Infrastructure Section & Operational Security Section, Consular Operations Section, Passport Systems and Technology Section, Employee Health and Safety Section and the Financial Policy and Treasury section.
